Panyaza Lesufi consults those implicated in SIU report

The Gauteng Education MEC says he’s in consultation with those implicated in the Special Investigating Unit’s preliminary report into PPE corruption.

This is in connection with the more than R431-million PPE scandal that’s rocked the department

Panyaza Lesufi says his department met with the SIU earlier this week where management was advised who to act against. The department says it has a duty to also protect some who may turn witness in the SIU investigation.
