KwaZulu-Natal: At 18H06 Saturday evening, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N3 West bound, just before Pinetown, Durban.
Reports indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a car were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the patients and found that an adult female had sustained moderate injuries and was mechanically trapped in the vehicle.
A Netcare 911 rescue technician used hydraulic tools to free the lady from the car.
Once treated and stabilised, the patient was transported by private ambulance to hospital for further care.
