Nigerian singer, Davido, has reacted to a public apology from Cheque for disrespecting his wife, Chioma Adeleke. Cheque had sparked an uproar among fans and followers over a now-deleted video shared by the artist.
Singer, songwriter, and performer Akanbi Bamidele Brett, who is popularly known as Cheque, was seen in the viral video admiring Chioma’s photos and singing a romantic song for her through his phone.
This act made netizens slam him heavily as they accused him of being disrespectful to Chioma Adeleke.
Reacting to this, Cheque issued a public apology for his action, a gesture which was acknowledged by Davido who put out a love emoji.
