Police Minister Bheki Cele is visiting Mpumalanga to assess security in the province ahead of the local government elections.
There has been an escalation of political killings in the province which has led to it being flagged as a hotspot.
Many South Africans will head to the polls on 1 November.

Speaking at a Cosatu event, Ramaphosa cited a 26 percent decline in the employment of domestic workers in the first half of last year. Learn more
