AIT chairman Raymond Dokpesi has died

Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the Chairman of Daar Communications (AIT) and politician passes away on May 29th, 2023.

Dokpesi, who was a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reportedly died in Abuja at the age of 71.

According to a source who spoke with The Punch correspondent, he suffered a stroke and succumbed to it while receiving treatment at an Abuja hospital.

The stroke occurred after the conclusion of the recent Ramadan fast. Following the stroke attack, Raymond Dokpesi had been undergoing medical management and occupational therapy to enhance his daily functioning, but his demise came unexpectedly.
