Iveco Driver hits 14 Cows in Ladybrand Accident. A man has been arrested after he was involved in an accident in which he hit 14 cows in the process.

As you can see in the picture, the Iveco is totally ruined and to hit 14 cows we wonder what speed he was travelling at.

In Other News – Hlengiwe Mhlaba cheats death again
When gospel star Hlengiwe Mhlaba managed to avoid a head-on collision on Saturday night it was the third time this year that she had stared Death in the face and lived to tell the tale.
She was on her way to Ermelo, Mpumalanga, between Melmoth and Vryheid, KZN when she avoided a vehicle coming towards her in her lane.
Family spokesman Nkululeko Khanyi told Daily Sun: “She tried to avoid the car and her Mercedes Benz went up the mountain and rolled,” he said. read more
In More News – Missing Natasha Conabeer found alive but critical, in ICU
The mother of a young KwaZulu-Natal woman who went missing three weeks ago is grateful that her daughter, Natasha Conabeer has been found alive after the unconscious student was dropped outside their home on Sunday morning.
Rosemary Conabeer said 23-year-old Natasha, was in a critical condition in hospital after she was left on her doorstep in the early hours of the morning.
“Doctors are doing everything they can for her. She is still unconscious. We don’t know what happened,” Conabeer said. read more

Northbound lanes of N3 highway closed due to truck accident
The northbound lanes of the N3 highway near the Vaaldraai/Vereeniging interchange have been closed after a crash involving two trucks on Thursday morning.
The N3 toll concession announced that a serious crash involving two trucks has been reported on the northbound lanes to Johannesburg.
“Traffic is being diverted at the Vaaldraai/Vereeniging interchange to rejoin the N3 northbound again at the Dasville interchange.
“Emergency services are on the scene, but it may be a while before recovery and cleanup operations can be completed. Traffic congestion and delays in this area should be expected for most of the day,” said Thania Dhoogra, operations manager at N3 Toll Concession.
Road users are requested to approach the area with caution.

Factory worker critical after falling into chemical storage tank
Gauteng: At 12H18 Tuesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to the case of a burn at a chemical manufacturing plant in Benoni on the East Rand.
Reports allege that a worker slipped and fell into a Nitrogen storage tank.
Co-workers who witnessed the man fall pulled him to safety.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, they found the patient, a 27-year-old male in critical condition with 40% chemical burns from the waist down.
Advanced life support intervention was immediately initiated by emergency care practitioners in an attempt to stabilise him.
Due to the time-sensitive nature of the man’s injuries, a Netcare 911 helicopter air ambulance was activated to airlift the patient to a specialist medical facility for further treatment.

Man left with serious injuries after being stabbed with broken beer bottle
KwaZulu-Natal: At 23H58 Saturday night, Netcare 911 responded to a stabbing at a local tavern on Harley Street in Margate on the South Coast.
Reports indicate that two adult males got into an altercation, resulting in a physical fight breaking out.
During the altercation, a 30-year-old male sustained serious injuries after being stabbed with a broken beer bottle numerous times in the face.
When medics arrived on the scene they found the patient on the floor covered in blood.
He was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic and once stabilised was transported to the hospital for further care.
Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the Margate SAPS who were on the scene.
