Niger Gov forwards three more nominees for commissioners to State Assembly

Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has forwarded additional names of three nominees to the State Assembly for screening and confirmation as Commissioners and members of the state executive council.

The nominees are Abbas Kabiru Musa, Musa Emmanuel Umaru and Yusuf Muhammad Gunu.

The Governor in a letter to the Speaker of the State Assembly, Abdullahi Bawa Wuse said the appointment and confirmation were as a result of vacancies created with the resignation of some commissioners seeking elective positions in the 2023 general election.

Meanwhile, during plenary, the House screened and confirmed Abraham Umar as Commissioner nominee and member of the state executive council earlier sent by the state governor
