A director with the National Board for Technical Education, (NBTE), Abdu Isa Kofarmata, was among the passengers that lost their lives in the Monday night’s attack on Abuja-Kaduna train by terrorists.
Recall that terrorists bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigina axis, leaving many passengers dead and others abducted. According to a family source, Kofarmata was shot by terrorists during the attack.
The source added that his corpse is on its way to Kano, while arrangements had been concluded for his burial according to Islamic rites.
The source also added that the late 55-year-old director was survived by four children and a wife.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has said he has no reason to resign as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Zoning Committee as being demanded by the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum (AYCF).
Recall that AYCF, led by one Yerima Shettima had demanded that Governor Ortom resign for allegedly compromising his position by receiving his Rivers state counterpart. Learn more
