Burna Boy announces date for new album

Burna Boy has just announced the release of his upcoming Twice As Tall, and fans are wilding out…

Whilst the rest of us have been twiddling our thumbs during lockdown, Burna has not let the Covid-19 pandemic stop him from preparing to release possibly his best album to date.

In a clip uploaded to his social media, the Naija superstar revealed that his new music offering officially drops on Friday, August 14.

We can expect to hear a host of hot new tracks, including his already released singles Wonderful and My Oasis, his collaboration with Grammy-award winning singer Sam Smith.

The album is produced by some of the best in the business; US music moguls Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Timbaland, of whom work their magic on the fuze of hip-hop, reggae, R&B and even rock songs.

Chris Martin of Coldplay, Naughty by Nature and Youssou N’Dour are some of the heavyweights set to also feature on his collaborations.

“I’m on record that I like hit records. If they’re not hit records, I don’t like them,” Diddy told the New York Times of his involvement.
